Peter Schurau joined Motive Partners in 2017 and is an Industry Partner.

At Motive, Peter sources and executes investment opportunities with a focus on strategy and growth for Motive portfolio companies, through his extensive experience in various executive roles at leading global professional services and technology companies. In parallel, he serves as CEO and a member of the board of directors of LPA. Peter also serves as a senior advisor to Symphony Technology Group and finleap.

Prior to joining Motive Partners, Peter was a Senior Partner and Managing Director at Capco where he led the European region and during his tenure, he successfully transformed the business into a high growth and above-market organization by expanding into untapped markets and scaling all key accounts. He was also responsible for managing Capco’s growth aspirations in the Asia Pacific region, before its acquisition by FIS, the largest provider of transaction processing and technology services to financial institutions, in 2010. After acquisition, Peter was appointed as Executive Vice President at FIS, where he had P&L responsibility for the European business of FIS, in addition to the Capco business in the EMEA and APAC regions.

Prior to joining Capco, Peter was a Partner in the Financial Services Practice of KPMG Consulting. When KPMG Consulting spun-off from its audit holding company and was listed as BearingPoint at the NYSE, Peter became a member of the European management board and ran Financial Services, Europe.

Peter earned a M.B.A. in Business Administration and Management from the University of Münster.
