John O’Dwyer is a Senior Advisor at Motive Partners.

At Motive, John advises on digital technology innovation and M&A within the banking industry sector, with a specific focus on Ireland. John is also the Founder and CEO of Corbel Capital, a strategic corporate development and advisory business based in Ireland.

Previously, John held a number of senior roles at Allied Irish Bank (AIB) including as the Head of Digital Investments & Innovation, Head of TMT Banking and latterly as a Director of Corporate Development and M&A where he led the acquisition of Payzone along with Fiserv from The Carlyle Group.  

Mr. O’Dwyer started his career as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and spent a number of years as an Investment Executive with a leading family office.

He holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Galway and Post Graduate and Masters qualifications from University College Dublin, Neoma Business School, INSEAD and the Law Society of Ireland.
