Rick Fish joined Motive Partners in 2021 and is a Director, Technology Transformation on the Create team.
Bringing nearly 30 years of experience in enterprise financial services technology, Rick serves as the technology subject matter expert supporting the firm's transaction services across the full investment lifecycle. In his role, he provides pre-deal technology assessment, architecture review, and post-close transformation support for our portfolio companies. He leads the development of Motive's strategic partner ecosystem, building dynamic capacity to support deal origination and portfolio value creation.
Prior to joining Motive Partners, Rick co-founded JigsawXYZ and Spoke Marketplace, a fintech advisory and delivery firm, which was acquired by Motive in 2021. Before that, he held senior leadership roles at UBS, including Global Head of Market Data, Global Product Manager for Enterprise Messaging and Databases, and positions spanning the Investment Banking and Wealth Management divisions.
Rick began his career at Accenture, where he led the technical re-platforming of the London Stock Exchange's Market Data Service (Infolect) and the modernisation of the SEDOL masterfiles service.
Rick holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Durham, graduating with first-class honours.
