Randy Walker joined Motive Partners in 2024 and is an Industry Partner. At Motive, Randy leverages his experience to drive value creation for Motive portfolio companies. Randy’s deep understanding of financial technology and global business dynamics helps companies navigate complex markets, optimize strategies, and achieve sustainable growth. He has a strong track record in banking, payments, data & analytics, and capital markets, fostering innovation and operational efficiencies.

Previously, Randy led IBM’s global Financial Services business and served as CEO and Chairman of IBM Asia Pacific, overseeing an $8 billion business. With extensive international experience across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, he brings a global perspective to leadership and strategy. Randy is a trusted advisor to global management teams and boards, recognized for his ability to drive innovation and operational excellence.

In addition to his work at Motive, Randy is an executive mentor at ExCo Leadership, where he works closely with CEOs and C-suite leaders in the financial services sector. His mentorship helps leaders navigate complex challenges, strengthen leadership capabilities, and drive transformative change to build resilient, high-performing teams.

Randy holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
