Tim Wanders joined Motive Partners in 2023 and is a Principal on the Motive Ventures team based out of Berlin and Amsterdam.

Prior to joining Motive, Tim was an Executive Director at ABN AMRO Ventures, the bank’s venture fund focusing on early stage investments across Europe and the US. Tim is currently a Board member at Upvest, Oper and DFNS. The management of ABN AMRO Ventures was taken over by Motive Partners in 2023. Before that, Tim was the co-founder and CEO of a venture backed startup in the mobility tech segment. Tim began his career in PE working for a family office focused on a buy-and-build strategy in the European automotive segment.

Tim holds both a MSc in Finance, as well as a BSc in International Business Administration, from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
